The Slow River School is the music project of Brian Magee a Dublin based musician, photographer and teacher.

Americana inspired by the likes of Sparklehorse, Grandaddy, Neil Young and My Morning Jacket Slow River School played live and recorded  for a short time in Dublin Ireland which lead to their initial EP.  

Magee played regularly around the Dublin scene at the time and went on to play and tour with Adrian Crowley taking a break from music to raise a family and train in Psychoanalysis.  The Slow River School began recording again in 2020 and have been releasing music regularly since 2020
